I think building your own precedent library is a great thing to do -- especially as a young associate, you may not even know/appreciate all the precedent value in the work you're doing early on, but they can be a helpful resource in recalling mechanics or other provisions down the road (whether you know it at the time or not..). Additionally, for purposes of a dealsheet, it's always good to have an archive of the matters you've worked on...
